Contact Our TeamProLanceur generates revenue exclusively through subscription fees from freelancers, clients, and team leaders. We offer free basic plans to help users get started, with paid plans providing additional features like unlimited proposals, priority support, advanced analytics, API access, and white-label options. This subscription-based model means our interests align with yours – we succeed when you succeed and continue finding value in the platform, not by taking a percentage of your hard-earned project income. Additional revenue streams include our referral program (which benefits users through rewards), featured listings for freelancers who want extra visibility, promoted job postings for clients who want faster responses, and enterprise solutions for large organizations. This sustainable business model allows us to maintain the platform, invest in new features, provide customer support, and ensure data security without charging transaction fees on your projects.
The Referral Programme rewards you for inviting new users. When someone signs up via your unique referral link and completes a qualifying action, you earn ProPoints and a cash reward. The more qualified referrals you generate, the higher your tier rises (Starter, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond), unlocking better reward rates and exclusive perks.
ProLanceur is GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and PDPA compliant. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Personal data is never sold to third parties. Access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time via Settings > Privacy > Data Requests. DPO contact: dpo@prolanceur.com.
Use the 'Report' button on any profile, message, or project listing, or email trust@prolanceur.com. Anonymous reports can be submitted at prolanceur.com/report/anonymous. Our Trust & Safety team aims to action all urgent fraud reports within 24 hours.
Decisions can be appealed once within 14 days by submitting new evidence to disputes@prolanceur.com. Appeals are reviewed by a senior specialist not involved in the original case. The appeal decision is final and binding.
Standard disputes resolve within 10 business days. Complex disputes (large amounts, technical deliverables) may take up to 21 business days. Both parties submit evidence; the Dispute Resolution team reviews all materials and issues a binding decision. You are notified by email and in-app notification.
Go to the project page and click 'Raise a Dispute'. Describe the issue, specify the resolution you are seeking, and upload supporting evidence (screenshots, messages, files). You have up to 30 days after the contract's last activity to raise a dispute. Both parties are notified and given 48 hours to respond.
Yes. New users can activate a 14-day free Pro trial once per account — no credit card required. At the end of the trial, your account returns to the free plan unless you subscribe.

Your unique referral link is at Dashboard > Referrals > My Link. Share via email, social media, blog posts, or any channel. Your referral code (e.g., PL-YOURCODE) can also be entered manually at sign-up. The referral cookie tracks sign-ups for 90 days after someone clicks your link.
Yes! Since payments are made directly between clients and freelancers, you can use cryptocurrency if both parties agree. Popular options include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDT (Tether), USDC, and other stablecoins. Cryptocurrency payments offer benefits like instant global transfers, lower fees than international wire transfers, and no intermediary banks. However, be aware of volatility risks with non-stablecoin cryptocurrencies, tax reporting requirements (cryptocurrency is taxable in most countries), and the need for secure wallet management. When agreeing to crypto payments, specify the exact cryptocurrency, amount, wallet address, and whether the rate is locked at agreement time or payment time due to price fluctuations. Upload blockchain transaction records as payment proof on ProLanceur. For referral program earnings, ProLanceur currently pays in USD, EUR, or INR only – cryptocurrency is not available for referral withdrawals.
If ProLanceur were to shut down, your project earnings would not be affected because clients pay you directly – funds never pass through ProLanceur. Your money is always in your own bank account, PayPal, or payment provider account. However, any unredeemed ProPoints or pending referral rewards would be processed according to our shutdown procedures, with priority given to paying out earned referral balances above the minimum threshold. Subscription fees are non-refundable, but we would provide advance notice of closure to allow you to complete ongoing projects and extract your data. All project records, messages, agreements, and payment confirmations would remain accessible for at least 90 days after closure announcement to allow you to download important documentation. Since we don't hold client funds or freelancer earnings, there are no "segregated accounts" or escrow funds that would need protection – your money stays with you at all times.
ProLanceur does not withhold income tax on project earnings because payments are made directly from clients to freelancers outside our platform. You are fully responsible for declaring and paying taxes on your ProLanceur income according to your country's tax laws. For referral program earnings paid by ProLanceur: US residents earning over $600 USD per year in referral rewards may receive a 1099-NEC form for tax reporting. Non-US residents may need to submit a W-8BEN form to avoid US tax withholding. Tax obligations vary significantly by country, so we strongly recommend consulting a qualified tax advisor in your jurisdiction. Keep accurate records of all income, expenses, receipts, and payment confirmations for tax purposes. ProLanceur provides downloadable transaction histories and earnings reports at Dashboard > Reports > Tax Documents to help with your tax filing. Remember that both project income and referral earnings are typically considered taxable income in most countries.
ProLanceur does not charge any payment processing fees or transaction fees to clients for project payments. Your only cost as a client is your monthly or annual subscription plan. There are no fees for posting projects, browsing freelancers, sending messages, or making payments to freelancers. Since payments are made directly between you and the freelancer using your agreed payment method outside the platform, ProLanceur doesn't process the transaction and therefore charges no processing fees. This transparent pricing means you know exactly what you're paying – just your subscription cost with no hidden fees, no percentage deductions on project payments, and no surprise charges. Post unlimited projects and hire unlimited freelancers without any additional costs beyond your plan fee.
For team projects, clients pay the full project amount directly to the Team Leader using their agreed payment method (bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, etc.). The Team Leader then distributes payments to individual team members based on the agreed split or rates. To maintain transparency and accountability on ProLanceur, Team Leaders must upload payment proof for distributions at Dashboard > My Team > Distribute Payments. Upload receipts, transaction screenshots, or confirmation emails showing payment to each team member. Team members can view their payment status and uploaded proof in their dashboard. ProLanceur does not process or charge fees for internal team distributions – these are handled entirely between the Team Leader and members. However, documenting payments through the platform helps resolve internal disputes, builds trust with team members, and creates a payment history record. Team Leaders should clearly communicate payment terms, distribution percentages, and timelines with all team members before starting projects to avoid misunderstandings.
ProLanceur does not offer escrow services or hold client funds because payments are made directly between parties. However, we provide dispute resolution services and documentation support to protect both clients and freelancers. Our platform tracks all agreements, messages, deliverables, and payment confirmations, which serve as evidence if disputes arise. While we cannot guarantee payment (since we don't hold funds), we maintain a trust and safety system that includes verified accounts, KYC verification, payment history tracking, client/freelancer ratings and reviews, and account suspension for non-payment. For high-value projects, we recommend freelancers request: a deposit upfront (typically 25-50%), milestone-based payments, or use of a third-party escrow service like Escrow.com (fees apply). ProLanceur supports these protective measures and can provide documentation for external escrow or legal purposes.
If a client fails to pay according to your agreed payment terms, you can raise a formal dispute through the platform at Dashboard > Projects > [Project Name] > Open Dispute. ProLanceur's Dispute Resolution team will review your case, examining all evidence including the original agreement, project deliverables, communications between you and the client, agreed payment terms, and any work you've submitted. The team mediates between both parties and issues a resolution within 5-10 business days. Possible outcomes include full payment enforcement (client must pay agreed amount), partial payment based on work completed, revision requests with adjusted payment, or a negotiated settlement. While ProLanceur cannot force a client to pay since we don't hold funds, we can suspend or ban clients who repeatedly fail to pay, and we provide documentation for small claims court if needed. To protect yourself: always document agreements in writing, deliver work through platform messaging for records, agree on payment terms before starting, request deposits for large projects, and never work outside the platform.
For project payments: You receive funds as quickly as your client sends them as per payment terms – typically instantly for PayPal, same-day for domestic bank transfers, 1-3 days for international wire transfers, and instant for cryptocurrency. Since ProLanceur doesn't hold or process project payments, there are no platform delays. Payment speed depends entirely on the payment method you and your client agreed to use. For referral earnings: ProLanceur processes referral withdrawals within 2-5 business days. Requests submitted before 3pm UTC on business days typically process same day, while requests after 3pm process the next business day. Actual receipt time depends on your payment method: PayPal (1-2 days), bank transfer (2-7 days depending on region and bank), Wise (1-3 days).
For project payments between clients and freelancers: Any currency you both agree upon, since payments are made directly. Common options include USD, EUR, GBP, INR, AUD, CAD, SGD, AED, JPY, BRL, and many others – you have complete flexibility. For ProLanceur subscriptions: Subscriptions are billed in USD, EUR, or INR based on your account location. For referral program payouts: ProLanceur pays referral rewards in USD, EUR, or INR only. You can select your preferred currency in Settings > Referral Preferences. Exchange rates for referral conversions are updated daily based on market rates. Note that when working internationally with clients, you should discuss and agree on the payment currency upfront to avoid confusion about exchange rates.
For project earnings: No withdrawal fees from ProLanceur because you receive payments directly from clients. However, your bank, PayPal, Wise, or payment provider may charge their own fees for receiving funds – check with your provider. For referral earnings: Payment provider fees (wire transfer fees, currency conversion fees, intermediary bank fees) are the responsibility of the recipient and vary by provider and country. We recommend using low-fee options like Wise or PayPal for international transfers to minimize costs.

ProLanceur integrates with: GitHub and GitLab (code linking, commit tracking); Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive (file sharing); Slack and Microsoft Teams (notification mirroring); Zoom and Google Meet (meeting scheduling); Trello and Jira (task syncing); Figma and Adobe XD (design preview); and Stripe (additional payment options). Clients and Freelancers can agree to NDAs as part of their project contract. ProLanceur provides a standard NDA template at prolanceur.com/templates/nda that can be digitally signed within the platform. By default, all project communications are already covered by confidentiality provisions in the Terms of Use.
Freelancers retain IP rights in their work until the client makes full and final payment, at which point IP transfers to the client as specified in the Service Contract. Freelancers always retain rights to pre-existing tools, code libraries, and background IP. They may display completed work in their portfolio unless the client has contracted for confidentiality.
Yes. ProLanceur LLP is fully GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PDPA, PIPEDA, and India DPDP Act compliant. We have a designated DPO, maintain a Record of Processing Activities, use Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers, and respond to data subject requests within legally required timeframes.
The full Terms of Use are at prolanceur.com/terms. The document covers all user roles, contracts, payments, intellectual property, dispute resolution, account termination, and governing law. It is legally binding for all ProLanceur users.
Admins must immediately declare any personal, professional, or financial relationship with a user involved in a case they are reviewing. They must recuse themselves from that case and hand it to another team member. Failure to recuse is a disciplinary matter. All recusals are logged in the Admin audit trail.
For project earnings: There is no minimum because payments are made directly from clients to you – you receive the full agreed amount immediately. For referral program earnings: The minimum withdrawal is $50 USD (or equivalent: €45 EUR or ₹4,200 INR). This minimum applies only to referral cash rewards that ProLanceur pays you, not to your regular project income. If your referral balance is below the minimum, you can continue earning through referrals until you reach the threshold, or you can use your ProPoints (our loyalty currency) for platform benefits like subscription discounts, featured listings, or certification courses instead of waiting to cash out.
Admin accounts have elevated access to moderation tools, user account management, dispute workflows, financial reporting, and compliance dashboards. All Admin actions are logged in an immutable audit trail. MFA is mandatory for all Admins. Admins must recuse themselves from decisions involving personal relationships.
Yes. AI tools screen profiles, project postings, messages, and deliverables for policy violations including prohibited content, spam, and fraudulent patterns. AI flags are reviewed by human moderators before enforcement on serious violations. Appeal any incorrect automated decision to appeals@prolanceur.com.
Yes. ProLanceur permits AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Copilot, etc.) in your workflow. However, if a client explicitly requests human-created work, or AI use would materially affect the deliverable, you must disclose it. Passing fully AI-generated work off as human-created when human creation was agreed is a Code of Conduct violation.
The matching algorithm analyses your project requirements — skills needed, budget, timeline, complexity, and past hiring patterns — and ranks Freelancers by predicted fit. It considers skills alignment, historical success rates on similar projects, response speed, availability, and client satisfaction signals. The AI continuously improves from successful matches across the platform.
Prohibited activities include: self-referrals, fake account networks, incentivised sign-ups (paying people to register), spam, misleading claims about ProLanceur, cloaking your referral link, and buying or selling referral accounts. Fraud results in immediate reward forfeiture, potential account termination, and possible clawback of already-withdrawn amounts.
Yes, with restrictions. You may not bid on ProLanceur-branded search keywords without written permission. All advertising must accurately represent what ProLanceur offers. Referral nature must be clearly disclosed in all content. Contact referrals@prolanceur.com to enquire about an official affiliate partnership with greater permissions.
ProPoints do not expire while your account is active (at least one login per 12 months). If inactive for 12 consecutive months, ProPoints are forfeited after email reminders at 60 and 14 days before expiry. Logging back in resets the 12-month activity clock.
Go to Dashboard > Referrals > My Wallet > Withdraw. Choose your payout method. Minimums: $100 (PayPal, Payoneer, Wise). Withdrawal fees: 2.5% (Starter) down to 0% (Diamond). Your Referral Wallet is separate from your project Earnings Wallet
Go to Dashboard > Referrals > ProPoints Wallet > Convert to Cash. Select the amount and confirm. Cash is added to your Referral Wallet instantly.
ProPoints can be redeemed for: subscriptions (Pro, Team, Enterprise plans); marketplace boosts (featured profile, proposal priority badge, search boost, portfolio upgrade, extra bid credits); operational perks (service fee reduction, custom URL, dispute filing waiver, verified badge fast-track); physical merchandise; and charitable donations. ProPoints can also be converted to cash at your tier's conversion rate.
An effective profile includes: a professional photo, a keyword-rich headline (e.g., 'Language Expert | CATs | 5+ Years'), a detailed bio, at least 3 portfolio samples, listed skills with proficiency levels, certifications, your rate range, and current availability. Profiles with 90%+ completion receive priority in search results.
Since payments on ProLanceur are made directly between clients and freelancers based on mutually agreed payment terms, you should always clarify payment schedules before starting work. If a client fails to pay according to your agreed payment terms, you can raise a formal dispute through the platform by going to the project page and clicking "Raise Dispute." ProLanceur's Dispute Resolution team will review the case, examining all evidence submitted by both parties, including the original agreement, project deliverables, communications, and payment terms. The team will work to mediate a fair resolution and issue a decision within 5-10 business days. Possible outcomes include full payment enforcement, partial payment based on work completed, revision requests, or a negotiated settlement between both parties. To protect yourself, always document your agreements in writing, deliver work through the platform messaging system, and keep records of all communications and deliverables.
A: ProLanceur does not charge any service fees or commissions on your project earnings. Unlike other freelance platforms, we operate on a subscription-based model, which means you keep 100% of what you earn from your projects. Your only cost is your monthly or annual subscription plan and you can reduce or eliminate these costs through our referral program by earning ProPoints. There are no hidden fees, no percentage deductions from your payments, and no transaction fees. This transparent pricing model ensures you know exactly what you're paying and allows you to maximize your earnings. Whether you're on the free plan or a paid subscription, ProLanceur never takes a cut of your project payments.
On ProLanceur, clients pay freelancers and team leaders directly using their agreed payment terms and methods. This means you receive 100% of your project earnings without any additional platform deductions on the payment itself. Once you and your client agree on a project, you'll also agree on the payment method (bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, cryptocurrency, or any other method you both prefer) and payment schedule (milestone-based, upon completion, monthly, etc.). ProLanceur does not process or hold your project payments, which is why you keep your full earnings. The platform service fee is separate and deducted from your subscription or calculated based on your plan tier. Always confirm payment terms with your client before starting work, and consider using written agreements or contracts for larger projects to protect both parties.
Fixed-price projects have an agreed total divided into milestones funded in escrow before work begins. Hourly projects bill by tracked hours using ProLanceur's built-in time tracker, processed weekly. Fixed-price suits well-defined scopes; hourly works better for ongoing or evolving engagements where scope is uncertain.
A high-converting proposal directly addresses the client's specific needs, references relevant past work, proposes a clear timeline with milestones, states your rate confidently, and asks one focused clarifying question. Aim for 200-500 words. Always personalise the opening sentence. Proposals that echo the client's own language from the brief perform significantly better.
Free plan: 5 proposals per month. Proposal limits are based on your subscription plan:
Go to 'Browse Projects'. Filter by category, budget, project type, client rating, and required skills. Click 'Submit Proposal' on any listing. Write a personalised proposal covering your approach, relevant experience, timeline, and proposed rate. Every proposal should be tailored — generic copy-paste proposals have significantly lower success rates.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your ProLanceur account by requiring a one-time verification code sent to your registered email address in addition to your password when you log in. How it works 1. Enter your email and password as usual 2. Check your registered email for a 6-digit verification code 3. Enter the code to complete login 4. Codes expire after 10 minutes for security
Yes. Go to Profile Settings > Security > Request Account Deletion. Resolve any active contracts or pending payments first. Your public profile is removed immediately; personal data is deleted within 90 days per our Privacy Policy. Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by law.
Click 'Forgot Password' on the login page, enter your registered email, and follow the link in the reset email. Password reset links expire after 60 minutes. If no email arrives, check spam or contact no-reply@prolanceur.com.
Deliver every project on time and above expectations. Communicate proactively. Ask satisfied clients to leave a review. Maintain a fast response rate (it impacts search ranking). Keep your portfolio and skills current. Freelancers with a Job Success Score (JSS) above 90% and 5+ completed reviews receive a 'Top Rated' badge that significantly boosts profile visibility.
KYC (Know Your Customer) is identity verification required by financial regulations before you can withdraw earnings or receive payments above certain thresholds. Submit a government-issued ID (passport or national ID) and a selfie. Verification is processed by our certified partner and typically completes within minutes to 24 hours.
Yes. ProLanceur allows one Freelancer account and one Client account per verified identity. Switch between roles using the role toggle in your dashboard. You cannot hire yourself through your own Client account.

Yes. ProLanceur LLP is a registered company operating under applicable business laws. All users undergo email verification and identity (KYC) verification before receiving payments. Transactions are protected via escrow — funds are held securely until work is delivered and approved. ProLanceur is GDPR, CCPA, and LGPD compliant. All financial data is encrypted via PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processors.
ProLanceur differentiates itself through its AI-powered talent matching engine, built-in team management tools, transparent tiered fee structure (fees decrease as Freelancer-Client relationships grow), robust dispute resolution with binding mediation, and a rewarding referral programme with cash payouts and ProPoints. Unlike some competitors, ProLanceur never charges clients a project-posting or browsing fee
ProLanceur supports users in 300+ countries with payments. Some features — particularly KYC verification and certain withdrawal methods — may vary by country due to local regulations. Users in internationally sanctioned territories may be restricted from financial transactions per our compliance obligations.
Yes — creating an account on ProLanceur is completely free for both Freelancers and Clients. There are no monthly fees to browse the platform, create a profile, or post a project. ProLanceur earns a service fee only when transactions are completed. Optional premium subscription plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise) are available for users who want enhanced features.
ProLanceur is open to anyone aged 18 or over (or the applicable age of majority in their country). There are four user roles: Freelancers (independent professionals offering skills), Team Leaders (managers of multi-freelancer teams), Clients (businesses or individuals hiring talent), and Admins (ProLanceur staff). You can join from anywhere — ProLanceur supports users in 300+ countries.
When a Freelancer marks a milestone as delivered, you receive an in-app notification and email. Review the deliverable carefully. If satisfied, click 'Approve and Release Payment'. If revisions are needed, click 'Request Revision' with specific feedback. If there is a genuine contractual issue, raise a formal dispute within 5 business days of delivery.
Since clients pay you directly, there's nothing to "withdraw" from ProLanceur for project earnings – you receive project payments immediately into your chosen account (bank, PayPal, Wise, etc.) as soon as the client sends them. However, if you've earned referral rewards through ProLanceur's referral program, you can withdraw those rewards at Dashboard > Referrals > Withdraw. Referral payments are processed by ProLanceur and paid in USD, EUR, or INR based on your preference. Minimum withdrawal for referral earnings is $50 (or equivalent in EUR/INR). To withdraw referral rewards, you must have completed KYC verification and linked a valid payment method (bank account, PayPal, or Wise). Referral withdrawals are processed within 2-5 business days. Your referral cash earnings and ProPoints balance are always visible in your referral dashboard.
ProLanceur itself accepts credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers for subscription payments only. However, for project payments between clients and freelancers, you can use any payment method you both agree upon since payments are made directly outside the platform. Common options include bank transfers, PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, cryptocurrency, credit/debit cards, cash, mobile payment apps, or any other method that works for both parties. ProLanceur doesn't restrict or control project payment methods because we don't process these transactions – you have complete flexibility to choose what works best for your situation.
You receive payment directly from clients according to your mutually agreed payment terms, which you should establish before starting work. Payment timing depends on what you negotiated – it could be upon project completion, milestone-based (after each deliverable), weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or a deposit upfront with balance upon completion. Since ProLanceur doesn't process payments, there are no platform-imposed delays – you receive funds as soon as your client sends them through your agreed method. For your protection, always agree on payment terms in writing before starting work, deliver work through ProLanceur's messaging system to maintain records, and upload payment proof after receiving funds. If a client doesn't pay according to agreed terms, you can raise a dispute through the platform at Dashboard > Projects > [Project Name] > Open Dispute, and our resolution team will help mediate.
Payment happens directly between you and your client using whatever payment method you both agree upon before starting the project. Common payment methods include bank transfer (ACH, SEPA, SWIFT, wire transfer), PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum), credit/debit card, cash (for local projects), mobile payment apps (Venmo, Cash App, Zelle), or checks. Discuss and agree on the payment method, schedule (milestone-based, upon completion, weekly, monthly), and currency during project negotiation. Once you complete the work and the client pays you, upload proof of payment to ProLanceur at Dashboard > Projects > [Project Name] > Upload Payment Proof. The client will also confirm payment from their end. This confirmation helps build your payment reliability track record and protects both parties in case of disputes. ProLanceur does not hold or process your project payments, which is why you receive funds immediately without platform delays.
Team Leaders pay subscription fees only, with no commissions or transaction fees on project earnings. You keep 100% of client payments to distribute among your team members. ProLanceur does not take any commission from your team's project earnings. Your only cost is the monthly subscription for your chosen plan, which covers all team management features, proposal submissions, and platform access.
Clients pay only subscription fees with no additional charges for project payments or platform usage. There are no payment processing fees, no transaction fees, and no commissions on what you pay freelancers. Since payments are made directly to freelancers, ProLanceur doesn't process the transaction and therefore doesn't charge processing fees. Post unlimited projects, browse unlimited freelancers, send unlimited messages, and hire as many professionals as you need – all included in your subscription with no per-project charges.
: ProLanceur charges only subscription fees – there are no service fees, commission fees, or transaction fees on your project earnings. Freelancers can choose from three subscription plans: Starter (Free – 5 proposals per month, 10% platform fee on your subscription if you upgrade later). The "platform fee" mentioned refers only to any additional services you purchase through ProLanceur, not your project earnings. You keep 100% of what clients pay you for projects. There are no hidden fees, no percentage deductions from payments, and no surprise charges. Your only cost is your chosen subscription plan, which can be further reduced through our referral program by earning ProPoints.
ProLanceur operates on a direct payment model where clients pay freelancers and team leaders directly using their mutually agreed payment method. This means payments are made outside the platform through bank transfers, PayPal, Wise, Payoneer, cash, cryptocurrency, or any other method both parties agree upon. Once payment is completed, the freelancer or team leader uploads proof of payment (receipt, transaction screenshot, or bank confirmation) to the platform via Dashboard > Invoice > Projects > Mark as Paid. The client also confirms payment receipt through their dashboard. This direct payment system allows you to receive 100% of your project earnings immediately without platform processing delays or additional transaction fees. ProLanceur does not hold, process, or manage project funds – we simply facilitate the connection and provide dispute resolution support if needed.
Yes, absolutely! Once you've worked with a freelancer or team leader, they are automatically saved in your "My Hired Professionals" list for easy access. You can find this list in your dashboard and quickly rehire any professional you've worked with before by clicking on their profile and inviting them to your new project. This feature makes it convenient to build long-term working relationships with trusted freelancers without having to search for them again. We encourage clients to work with the same professionals repeatedly, as it saves time, builds trust, ensures consistency in quality, and allows freelancers to become more familiar with your business needs and preferences. You can also leave reviews and ratings for freelancers you've worked with, helping other clients make informed hiring decisions while building the freelancer's reputation on the platform.
First communicate directly — describe specifically what falls short of the agreed scope and request a revision. If direct communication fails, raise a formal dispute through the Platform. Our Dispute Resolution team reviews the contract, communications, and deliverables, and issues a binding decision. Partial or full refunds are possible where work clearly does not meet the agreed specification.
ProLanceur.com is an AI-powered global freelance marketplace operated by ProLanceur LLP. It connects skilled independent professionals (Freelancers and Teams) with businesses and individuals (Clients) who need to get work done. Clients post projects, freelancers submit proposals, and once a contract is agreed, work is delivered through the platform with secure escrow payment protection. ProLanceur handles contracts, communication, payments, and dispute resolution so both sides can focus on great work.
ProLanceur does not charge any payment processing fees or transaction fees to clients. The platform operates on a subscription-based model, so your only cost as a client is your monthly or annual subscription plan. There are no fees for posting projects, browsing freelancers, sending messages, or making payments to freelancers. Since payments are made directly between you and the freelancer using your agreed payment method, ProLanceur does not process the transaction and therefore charges no processing fees. This transparent pricing model means you know exactly what you're paying – just your subscription cost with no hidden fees or percentage deductions on project payments. Whether you're on the free Basic plan or a paid subscription, you can post unlimited projects and hire freelancers without any additional charges beyond your plan fee.
Specific, honest briefs attract better applicants. Include: the problem you are solving, specific deliverables, technical requirements, preferred tools or formats, hard deadlines, a realistic budget range, and examples of work you admire. Avoid vague or copy-paste descriptions. The more detail you provide, the more targeted and high-quality your proposals will be.
Click 'Post a Project' from your dashboard. Fill in: project title, a detailed description (minimum 100 words — specify deliverables, requirements, and expectations), required skills, project type (fixed or hourly), budget range, and timeline. Optionally attach reference files. Once published, your project is visible to Freelancers and you will typically receive proposals within a few minutes.
Yes. Team membership does not restrict a Freelancer from independently bidding on and accepting their own projects outside team work, unless their internal agreement with the Team Leader specifies exclusivity. ProLanceur does not enforce internal team exclusivity arrangements.
The Team Leader remains fully responsible for delivering the contracted work regardless of internal team changes. ProLanceur does not reduce scope or price based on team attrition. The Team Leader can recruit a replacement or complete the work through other means. Build contingency plans into your team agreements.
All client payments are sent directly to the Team Leader using the agreed payment method (bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, or any other preferred method). The Team Leader is then responsible for distributing the agreed amounts to individual team members using each member's preferred payment method. To maintain transparency and accountability, Team Leaders must upload payment receipts and proof of payment through the ProLanceur platform by going to Dashboard > My Team > Distribute Payments. This documentation ensures all team members can verify their payments and helps resolve any internal payment disputes. Internal distributions between the Team Leader and team members are processed outside the platform with no service fees charged by ProLanceur for these team-internal transfers. We recommend Team Leaders clearly communicate payment terms, schedules, and distribution percentages with all team members before starting any project to avoid misunderstandings.
Go to Dashboard > My Team > Create Team. Add your team name, description, service areas, and invite existing ProLanceur Freelancers by username or email. Team capacity: free plan 5 members; Pro 10 members; Enterprise unlimited. Each invited Freelancer must accept before joining the team.
A Team Leader is a ProLanceur user who creates and manages a named team of Freelancers. Team Leaders bid on projects on behalf of their team, coordinate delivery, communicate with clients, and distribute payments to team members. This role is ideal for agency owners, project managers, or senior freelancers who want to scale capacity.
Yes, provided your employment contract permits freelance work and there is no conflict of interest with your employer. You are classified as an independent contractor on ProLanceur — not an employee. You are responsible for declaring freelance income and complying with tax obligations in your jurisdiction.
The JSS is a percentage reflecting the overall quality of your completed contracts. Calculated from client reviews, contract outcomes (completed vs cancelled), and satisfaction signals over the last 24 months. A JSS of 90%+ earns 'Top Rated' status. A high rate of client-initiated cancellations will lower your JSS.
